How do I build a hockey lineup?

1. Create your team. Sign in with your email and add your team name and season.
2. Add your players and game. Enter them manually or connect your own TeamSnap account and choose the right team.
3. Confirm who is playing. Review attendance. Use Here, Expected or Out for game-day changes.
4. Arrange your lines. Drag a player into a position or tap a spot to choose someone. Add forward lines and defence pairs as needed.
5. Share the plan. Download a PNG or copy the lineup text and post it to your existing team chat.

Find the right player quickly

Sort available players by name, last name, jersey number, preferred position, goals, assists or points. Search by name or filter by position. Players without recorded stats appear last in statistical sorts. Optional league stats can connect automatically when your team is matched and covered. Review uncertain matches or add manual figures when coverage is missing.

Handle a late arrival or a last-minute absence

Mark a sick player Out for this game to remove them from the lines without deleting their season roster record. Mark a late arrival Here and place them into the lineup. When TeamSnap is connected, refresh attendance to review newer responses while preserving your coach overrides.

Can I share hockey lines without asking parents to install an app?

Yes. Download the lineup as a PNG and send it through WhatsApp, text or TeamSnap chat. It is a snapshot: download a fresh copy if the lineup changes. Sharing does not automatically post to TeamSnap.

Can I build lines without TeamSnap?

Yes. Manual roster, game and attendance setup are available. TeamSnap is an optional source for coaches already using it.
